Mica Panels – Following the traditions of Dirk Van Erp and Louis Comfort Tiffany Tiffany Lamps produces new styles and reproductions of Mica Panels lighting art. Dirk Van Erp was a Dutch American artisan, copper smith and metal smith. He is best known for his lamps made of copper with mica lamp shades, Dirk Van Erp was involved directly in the Arts and Crafts Movement. Dirk Van Erp in 1910 created the process of combining mica with shellac for lamp shades.
